Anxiety and Imaging

Alan N. Simmons

I am an avid imager who holds a phd in clinical psychology. My areas of interest is in anxiety, specifically PTSD and anticipation.

The bulk of my research has been done under the mentorship of Martin Paulus (Imaging) and Murray Stein (Anxiety).

My current research focus is on combat veterans returning from Iraq and Afghanistan. I am funded in this work by a NARSAD and the Center of Excellence in Stress and Mental Health.
